Julie Foucher is a multi-time Crossfit Games competitor and podium finisher, a doctor, and the Host of the Pursuing Health Podcast.
But I think that what stands out most about Julie is her character. It’s not just something people like me observed. It’s something you hear so many of her peers confirm over and over again. So when I read a post (linked below) where she shared that she wasn’t truly living as she felt she was created to, my intrigue was captured.
During our conversation, I had the opportunity to hear first hand about her iconic 2015 CrossFit Regionals injury and continued performance (linked below), we discussed the most recent season of her life that caused her to examine who she believed herself to be and how she was living that out, very practical tools to evaluate your life and grow into the person God created you to be.
I cannot tell you how happy I was to have this conversation with Julie. She will always be that iconic CrossFit competitor, but more importantly to me, she will continue to be an example of living a life of authenticity…even when it hurts.
